I love to watch you grow;
Mycological miracle thriving in a radioactive pile.
Let’s crack a space to decay in together.
Let’s grow into each other,
Become something unbecoming.
A networked mycelium mat,
a bio organic internet of things
Two fruiting bodies of the same interconnected mass of life,
Devouring the bones of their broken habitat
Making room for new, more radical forms of life.
Why can’t that be love?

Reizor (she/they) is a disabled queer settler living on Awabakal Country in so-called australia. They’re an Artist of many crafts and mediums including wood, metal, cloth, and words both spoken and scribbled. Currently she splits her time between writing revolutionary sci-fi tabletop games and crafting utopian space poetry.
